The Sales Associate willhelpdrivenew salesoperations and revenue by supporting the Fallon Sales Executive team. The Sales Associate will contribute on many aspects within the end to end sales process ; executing, as needed, upon the fulfillment of the commercial sales cycle including contributions to the teams operations, planning, service and internal/external communications efforts. The Sales Associate will function as part of the Sales Team, serving as primary point of contact back up to coordinate timely responses to broker inquiries in the Sales Executives absence.
Process receipt and prepare Requests For Proposals (RFP) to send to underwriting
Perform routine operational tasks associated with evaluating an RFP (eg: disruption)
Collaborate with appropriate operational units to drive timely and efficient installation of new business cases.
Provide support to brokers in the new business process and respond to questions/problems
Work directly with brokers to follow up for information and answer routine questions.
Provide routine account service:
Help resolve routine problems (ie. Underwriting, billing, employer and member concerns, etc.) by working with the appropriate departments and the Account Manager to ensure resolution and adequate follow-up.
Perform ongoing servicing calls via telephone to benefits administrators and/or brokers of new Fallon Health Plan accounts to ensure that the installation is going smoothly.
Client Facing: Support Sales Executives during open enrollments. Be capable of conducting open enrollment presentations and effectively disposition member issues.
Work directly and tactically with underwriting to contribute to enhance the competitive position of a prospects quote.
Four year college education, or equivalent, preferably in the field of Marketing.
2-5 years background in in sales or service environment preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Project coordination experience.
Sales or business experience preferred but not required
University graduate (BS/BA in business preferred)
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to learn business and sales concepts quickly through online education, team members and mentoring and coaching
Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
